دومین کنفرانس بین‌المللی دوزبانه ایران شناسی معاصر (ICCI) ، دوازدهمین اپیزود از پادکست ایران آکادمیا با عنوان «روش‌شناسی افکارسنجی» به همراه عمار ملکی که به‌ویژه به روش به‌کاررفته در افکارسنجی ایرانیان در مؤسسه گمان می‌پردازد و همچنین وبینار «ایران، از انسداد تا خطر زوال»، با حضور پرویز صداقت که به‌اختصار ریشه‌های بحران‌های اقتصادی-اجتماعی ایران که به وضعیت انسداد ساختاری منتهی شده را مورد بررسی قرار می‌دهد.

سال ۲۰۱۲، هنگامی که ایران آکادمیا آغاز به کار کرده بود، تصور نمی‌شد که در دهمین سالگردش در آگوست ۲۰۲۲، میزبان دومین کنفرانس بین‌المللی دوزبانه ایران‌پژوهی معاصر باشد. 

در روزهای ۲۶ و ۲۷ آگوست ۲۰۲۲، در همکاری با انستیتو بین‌المللی مطالعات اجتماعی (ISS) در لاهه، هلند، و در ساختمان این انستیتو، ایران آکادمیا میزبان یک کنفرانس دوزبانه با موضوع «ایران و گردش قرن؛ آزموده‌ها، آموزه‌ها، و چشم‌اندازها» خواهد بود.

Three significant topics are presented in this newsletter:

The second bilingual international conference on contemporary Iranian studies (ICCI). Ammar Maleki discusses the methodology used in the GAMAAN Institute's opinion polling of Iranians in the twelfth episode of the Iran Academia podcast, titled "Survey Methodologies." Last but not least, our monthly Webinar with Parviz Sedaghat, titled "Iran, From obstruction to the risk of deterioration", briefly discusses the causes of Iran's socioeconomic crisis.

We could never have imagined ten years ago, in the year of the Iran Academia's official opening in 2012, that we would host an international bilingual conference in the social sciences and humanities in The Hague, the Netherlands, in August 2022.

In collaboration with the International Institute for Social Studies (ISS), Iran Academia is hosting the Second International Conference on Contemporary Iranian Studies (ICCI) in The Hague, at the ISS building.

This conference will be held in Persian and English, and we are very excited about it. We hope that it will cultivate further collaboration between researchers, thinkers, and academics working in both languages.

ICCI 2022 is an in-person conference, and we encourage you to register and make travel arrangements to the City of Justice (the Hague).

The final conference paper submission deadline for accepted abstracts is the 1st of August.

Sunday, July 10.  7:00 p.m. CET. with Q&A

Parviz Sedaghat will briefly examine the causes of Iran's socio-economic crises in this talk, which have resulted in the current structural impasse. There will also be a discussion of the issue of whether there is actually a solution to the crisis. An economic strategy with chances for emerging from the crisis will be offered in this framework.
