AcademiX:
We're delighted to inform you that our AcademiX portal has undergone comprehensive enhancements and upgrade to deliver a smoother, more user-friendly experience. The next iteration of the AcademiX mobile applications (Android and iOS), set to roll out in the coming days.
We are also thrilled by the very positive response to our free online course on "Transitional Justice". Enrollment is still open, and we welcome everyone's participation. The first week of our course, "A Window to the World of Transitional Justice", has kicked off successfully, shedding light on the intricate facets of transitional justice.
Agora:
We hosted a thought-provoking seminar, "The Concept of Populism and its Importance", that we hope to continue to spark intellectual discourse and debate. We're also pleased to present the sixteenth episode of the Iran Academia podcast - "Organization and Democracy", featuring an insightful discussion with Saeed Rahnema. Our Podcast's upcoming episode "Moral Politics" (George Lakoff), featuring an engaging conversation with Vafa Mehraein, the translator of G. Lakoff's work, slated for release on July 3rd.
University Press:
We're honored to announce the publication of the 13th issue of "Freedom of Thought" Journal. We heartily invite our esteemed readers to submit their articles for possible inclusion in future volumes. Additionally, we're thrilled to announce the availability of the book "Memoirs of a Lost Iranian" edited by Shahram Kiani.
Events:
The sixth seminar of the Cologne Forum of "Woman, Life, Freedom," scheduled for June 30. We're also excited about the "The Missing Link of Unfinished Protest Movements" webinar from our Freedom of Thought series on July 2nd at 7 pm Central European Time, featuring a conversation between Zeinab Peyghambarzadeh and Saeed Paivandi. The discussion will center on S. Paivandi's recently published article in the Freedom of Thought journal latest issue.
We're also looking forward to hosting "The Process of Transformation in Iran's Today" webinar, where Nayereh Tohidi will discuss her published article from the Freedom of Thought Journal. The event, happening on Monday, July 30th at 7 PM Central European Time, will be live-streamed on our social media platforms, offering a chance for live Q&A.
