This course provides an overview of research methods and phases in the social sciences and humanities. The goal of this course is to familiarize students with academic research criteria and concepts, as well as to teach them how to perform scientific research. The student should be able to become familiar with and learn the key concepts and procedures of theoretical and practical dissertation preparation and writing. The majority of this class’s activities, exercises, and assignments are focused on works that are directly linked to dissertation writing. In the early weeks of the school year, students should think seriously about the topic of their dissertation and use the classroom to test their credibility and research.
