Feminism, Genger, and Sexuality

This post is also available in: Persian

How do different feminist approaches explain gender inequalities? What are other social, economic, and political inequality systems shaped by our experience of gender? How has our perception of sexuality changed over time?

About the period :

All aspects of our lives from birth are influenced by perception Society is shaped by our gender, and from the earliest years of life, certain social patterns are imposed on us based on society's perception of healthy, natural, and normal sexuality. Inequality based on gender and sexuality still exists in various forms in all parts of the world, and many of the rights that women and sexual and gender minorities have in some countries today are the result of years of struggle. The different feminist approaches that have emerged during these struggles have provided different explanations for the causes of gender and gender inequalities and the impact of other social, economic, and political inequality systems on gender inequality. We hope that participating in this course will help students understand inequality based on gender and sexuality in everyday life.
