Sarah Sohail has a PhD in Gender Studies from Arizona State University, is an active lawyer in the field of human rights and labor rights, and an activist for the rights of sexual and gender minorities. Since 2008, Sarah Sohail has taught at the Institute of Legal Studies in Lahore, Pakistan, Beacon House University, Lahore University of Management Sciences, and Lahore University of Information Technology. Her teaching expertise is law, gender studies, and South Asian history.
