Yasmine Ansari

Yasmine Ansari (she/her) is a feminist scholar and activist. She has received her MA degree in International Relations of the Middle East from the University of Edinburgh and also holds a BA degree in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and International Studies from Seattle University.

Her research interests revolve around feminist biopolitics, the philosophy of gender and sexuality, critical animal studies, reproductive justice, and feminist multispecies justice. Currently, Ansari is pursuing her studies in the Department of Gender Studies at Central European University, where she is researching and writing about the question of reproductive justice for nonhuman animals.
