On December 8, 2023, at the Amsterdam Public Library (OBA), the book “Talaat Pasha: Father of Modern Turkey, Architect of Genocide” was launched. This book has been translated into Farsi by Amir Moghadam and published by the scientific-research publications of Iran Academia.
Written by renowned historian Hans-Lukas Kieser, this biography provides an in-depth insight into the life and influence of Talaat Pasha, a pivotal figure in the late Ottoman Empire and the Armenian Genocide.
The author and the translator, who had travelled to the Netherlands from Australia, were the special guests of this event. This event was held in two languages and conducted by Touraj Atabaki.
This event was a rare opportunity for direct engagement with Hans-Lukas Kieser and Amir Moghaddam, and a chance to obtain a rare number of signed versions of the book.
