Spui – Centrale Bibliotheek – Den Haag
The Hague Central Library
Thursday – April 3, 2025 From 6 pm to 8 pm
We invite all Persian speakers and literature enthusiasts to join us for the second session of “Khandani-ha” (خواندنیها), a new Persian-language book club hosted at the Central Library of The Hague.
Inspired by the renowned song Najvaha by Farhad, “Khandani-ha” is a monthly gathering where readers come together to explore a selected book, engage in discussions with its author, and share readings from the text. Iran Academia’s University Press organizes this initiative to foster meaningful literary exchanges among Persian-speaking communities in a warm, welcoming space.
For our Second session on April 3rd, 2025, we are honored to host Mansoureh Shojaei as the moderator and Atefeh Chaharmahalian as our special guest. We will explore her works, exchange thoughts, and celebrate Persian literature.
You can read Atefeh Chaharmahalian’s latest work here.
This program will be recorded and then posted on Iran Academia social media. Please be aware that if you wish to participate in the discussion, your voice and image will be posted.
Doors open at 18:00. The event starts at 18:30 and runs until 20:00.
Please note that the event location is on the 4th floor of the Central Library. If you are using the elevator, when you exit the elevator on the 4th floor, turn right and enter the meeting room located behind the elevator.
After the discussion, attendees can continue the conversation.

We look forward to seeing you there!
