Relocating the Capital of Iran: A Critical Review

This article provides an analysis of the practicality and possibility of the relocation of the capital of Iran from Tehran to a yet to be identified new location.
To give the subject matter a wider context, it first sets forward a historical perspective of capital relocations around the globe over centuries, and a review of some examples of similar attempts in other parts of the world, especially in countries with common denominators with Iran. Specifically, it discusses some lessons learned from those experiences.
