The Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities of Iran Academia is proud to announce that the university’s Social Studies program has received international accreditation from the International Accreditation Council for Development Studies and Research (IAC/EADI) for a period of 5 years, from June 2026 to May 2031.
This accreditation was granted to the Social Studies program after a comprehensive and independent evaluation process, including a self-evaluation of the academic program, a review of educational documentation, an evaluation of theses, and an in-person visit to the university by a panel of international evaluators.
In the final report, the panel of evaluators commended the academic quality of the degree program, its distinctive mission, the commitment of the faculty members, the innovative online learning environment, and the effective role of the degree program in providing high-quality higher education to students who face political, cultural, economic, or institutional barriers to accessing university education .
This success, along with the location of this educational program in Level 7 of the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) and the Dutch National Qualifications Framework (NLQF), equivalent to a master’s degree, is another important step in strengthening Iran Academia’s international standing and a confirmation of this university’s commitment to global higher education standards and continuous improvement of educational quality.
