Arash Debestani is a writer, podcaster, and creative writing instructor based in New York. He graduated in English Literature and Persian Literature from the University of California, Berkeley, and later received an MFA in Creative Writing from New York University (NYU).
Debestani has published several collections of short stories that reflect themes of migration and identity. His work has appeared in reputable literary journals, and in 2021 he was recognized as the featured writer of the Berkeley Fiction Review.
