Roya Karimi Majd is an Iranian journalist who started her career in 1991 and joined Radio Farda in 2008. She produces a weekly program called “Sedaye Digar” dedicated to women’s issues. In 2015, her radio show “Sonnat e Tigh” won the Golden Microphone Award at the New York Radio Festival. The main character in the movie “Holy Spider” was inspired by the work of Roya Karimi Majd in the field of investigative journalism.
