We are honored to invite you to an extraordinary event celebrating the career and contributions of Mr. Enayat Fani, a distinguished figure in Iranian journalism and literature. Having served as an Editor and Presenter for BBC World Service and BBC Persian Radio and Television for the past four decades, Mr. Fani has left an indelible mark in the field of journalism. His distinctive voice and insightful perspectives have been particularly recognized in the Persian version of the HardTalk program. Mr. Fani recently retired and is now focusing on his literary pursuits. We are excited to announce the launch of his latest poetry book, freshly published in London. This event will offer an exclusive opportunity to delve into his poetic world. This momentous occasion is set to take place in the Central Library of The Hague on August 12th, 2023, at 15:00 PM CET, a date that also commemorates Mr. Fani’s birthday. Organized by a dedicated group of Iranian journalists, writers, and researchers based in the Netherlands, this event aims to celebrate not only his professional achievements but also his personal journey. We are privileged to have the event moderated by Prof. Touraj Atabaki. The program will be conducted bilingually in both Persian and English, making it accessible to a wider audience. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to meet Mr. Fani in person during a meet and greet session, where they can also acquire a signed copy of his new poetry book. For those unable to join us in person, the event will be live-streamed by Iran Academia, ensuring that fans and followers from around the world can partake in the festivities.
