Spui – Centrale Bibliotheek – Den Haag The Hague Central Library Thursday – March 6, 2025 From 6 pm to 8 pm
We invite Persian speakers and book lovers living in the Netherlands (especially Den Haag 0 The Hague) to the first meeting of “Khāndani-hā”, a new book club held every month at the Spui, Centrale Bibliotheek – Den Haag (The Hague Central Library).
“Khāndani-hā,” which takes its name from Farhad’s enduring song “Najvaha,” is a gathering of book lovers. In these sessions, a selected work is introduced and the author discusses the book. Participants read parts of the book together and exchange views. This program is organized at the initiative of Iran Academia University Press to provide a friendly and pleasant atmosphere for those interested in reading Persian books.

🔸 At the first Khāndani-hā session on March 6, 2025, on the eve of International Women’s Day, we will be honored to host Mansoureh Shojaee as moderator and Shahzoda Samarqandi, author of “Mothersland“. Join us for a lively discussion about this read!
⏰ Check-in at 18:00 | Program starts at 6:30 pm, ends at 8:00 pm ☕ After the meeting, you can have a friendly chat over a drink at the café on the ground floor of the library.
