Behrouz Afagh has more than thirty years of experience in journalism, program production and management at the BBC. Until 2016, he was the head of the Middle East and Asia region at the BBC, and in charge of many popular channels of the BBC, such as Persian, Arabic, Chinese, Turkish, Hindi, Urdu, and Pashto, and responsible for the launch of the BBC Persian TV. In recent years, he has been the editor of the Aso website; cooperates with DMA Media company, whose work is strategic and executive consulting in media projects; and he is a member of the board of trustees of several media and educational foundations. For several years, he was a member of the jury of the Guardian newspaper in the international competition of reporting in the field of development.
