S. Mahdi Khodaei is a PhD candidate at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) whose research interests are focused on human rights movements in the Middle East, with a particular emphasis on Iran and Egypt. Mahdi Khodaei holds a master’s degree in human Rights from FAU, and has contributed to a book titled “Against the Current: Human Rights and Climate Justice in the Global South”, which was published by Dejusticia in Colombia. Additionally, he has published a book titled “Multidisciplinary Approach to Human Rights in Iran”, which was published by H&S Media in London.
