Soheil Human

Dr. Soheil Human possesses a rich interdisciplinary background in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cognitive Science, History and Philosophy of Science (HPS), and Science-Technology-Society (STS).

Currently, he serves as the Director of the Sustainable Computing Lab and is a faculty member at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU Wien). He is also a lecturer of Human-centric Digital Sciences at the Department of Philosophy, University of Vienna. He leads and manages several interdisciplinary research projects and initiatives, and he teaches courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Prior to his current roles at the Vienna University of Economics and Business, Dr. Human conducted research and managed multidisciplinary projects at various institutions, including the Vienna University of Technology (TU Wien), the Austrian Institute for Artificial Intelligence (OFAI), and Research Studios Austria (RSA). Beyond his academic career, he has provided coaching and consulting to over 40 startups and corporations and has contributed to diverse projects led by national and international NGOs and agencies, including the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).
