Carlos Dorantes has worked in the fields of transparency, human rights, the right to truth, and memory. He holds an MSc in International Development and Humanitarian Emergencies (LSE) and a BA in International Relations (UNAM). His research has been focused on the effects of violence, the politicization of families of forcibly disappeared persons, transitional justice, and memory. Currently, he is the Right to Information Programme Officer at ARTICLE 19 Mexico and Central America.
