Aziz Mohibbi

The former Chancellor of Bamiyan University in Afghanistan and a SAR scholar hosted jointly by Trinity College Dublin and Maynooth University.

Dr. Mohibbi was the former Chancellor of Bamiyan University in Afghanistan and is currently being hosted jointly as a SAR scholar by Trinity College Dublin and Maynooth University.
Dr. Mohibbi completed his Master’s in Natural Resource Management from AIT (2011) after obtaining his Bachelor’s from Kabul University. He studied for his Ph. D. at the Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology.

Dr. Mohibbi has taught at Kabul University, and he has also served in UN Environment among others. He has been an advisor to the Afghanistan Parliament Commission of Natural Resources and Environment and a senior advisor with the National Environmental Protection Agency of Afghanistan.
