He is an Associate Professor and Chair of Nano-Optomechatronics Instrumentation Development at the Mechanical Engineering Department at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). His areas of expertise include mechatronic systems design, system architecture, optomechatronics, nanometerology and nano-optomechatronic devices (NOMI). His research goal is the development of mechatronic systems.
