Niloofar Hooman holds a Ph.D. in Communication from the University of Tehran. She is a Ph.D. candidate in Communication, New Media and Cultural Studies at McMaster University, and a Graduate Diploma (Ph.D.) student in Gender Studies and Feminist Research at McMaster University
