Although the transition from tyranny to democracy is an internal matter and related to the relationship between the government and the people, and therefore it is an issue that is related to the issue of sovereignty, can this transition also be the fulfillment of international law? If so, isn’t establishing a relationship between international law and the conditions of transition to democracy a violation of the fundamental and strong principle of independence of national sovereignty according to the same international law?
