Profiles

“Something isn’t right.” The experience of wrongness is the beginning point for critical thinking in the modern era. We examine this experience through the lens of specific examples in order to determine how it has influenced critics and reflection.

This one-semester course serves a dual purpose: it is both a critical thinking and a modern political philosophy introduction. Reflection in the modern era is essentially vital. We investigate the critical nature of modern thought as well as critical thinking methods and skills, particularly in the sphere of politics.
