This text considers postcolonial theory both as a strength for the critique of psychology and as a theoretical resource for developing critical alternatives for/in psychology. Mainstream academic psychology and existing psychologies similarly remain Western-centric in their problematization and theoretical resources, and their main sites, institutions, and agents of reproduction.
